Needed Immediately: Recommendation of cheap hotel on mainland

I need to be somewhere important at 6:30 tomorrow morning and obviously can't rely on BC Ferries to get me there with the current situation.
So I am taking the water taxi taxi tonight but need somewhere cheap to stay.
I desperately need suggestion of where to stay.

In the past, the downtown Ramada has had a special deal for Bowen Islanders - you used to have to prove you lived on Bowen. Parking was extra, though. There's no view, but the rooms are decent.

I hope others may have some ideas ... good luck!

We just hope we'll be able to get off tomorrow - our son is in a race on Vancouver Island over the weekend.

If the ferry is still out in the morning, there will surely be a water taxi for commuters. There are other islanders who have to take the early ferry to get to work.

Horseshoe Bay Motel has decent rates and will give a discount if you live on Bowen.

Horseshoe Bay Motel is $137 plus tax i.e. about $150 total, which frankly I think is a ripoff for a mediocre motel. The Downtown Ramada is about $75 inc. with the Bowen discount. Much better value.
