2010 Road Construction

This notice is to inform Bowen Island residents that road construction will be ongoing in the following areas beginning August 16th, 2010 for a period of approximately six weeks:

• Grafton Road between Cates Hill Road and Grafton Lake
• Adams Road between Cowan Road and Buchanan Road
• Sections of Mt. Gardner Road
• Sections of Collins Road and Reid Road

Occasional 20 minute delays and alternating traffic is expected. Please obey all traffic signs, reduce your speed through the construction zones and leave extra time to reach your destination.

Hope one day Venture Road will be black topped. It is a dreadful mess.

I hope that the road crew will try hard to work with the flow of the ferry traffic.

Don't leave only 5 minutes before.

I hope this time that "sections of Collins Road and Reid Road" means sections close to the end rather than only as far as the top of the hill.
