'our government stands in making good on our commitment to BC families'

'I value the input of every individual who takes the time to contribute. This is why I have made it a priority to be accountable to those who participate in the engagement process. We understand that engagement is a two way street.'

BCLiberals

If we apply the above statements to the upcoming approved service cuts of 9 bowen runs, how is Christy doing?

There has been a letter from Mayor Adelaar to Christy Clark with the recommendations made as a result of a combined meeting of the Economic Development Advisory Committee and the BI Transportation Committee.
There is also an online survey being released today for all islanders to voice their opinions.
There were individuals from the above two concerned Committees on the affected ferries this past weekend surveying all of the riders on the personal affects of the cancellations. All of this information will be put together in a document for lobbying purposes.
These initiatives along with any letters, emails, petitions, phone calls, public protests will combine to get the message out that there are way more impacts on the Bowen Island Economy and quality of life than a measly $300,000 saving over 2 years for BCFC.
