Wow, thank you to all the organizers, helpers and donors who made Bowen's Remembrance Day ceremony/lunch so special. The Legion Board for all their hard work in preparation of the day and for funding the Fly By and piper Derek Davidson ..Wasn't he an amazing? He's been booked for next year!
Janis Treleaven was also a welcomed addition to the honour guard of our local RCMP in their serge. The lunch couldn't have happened without the kitchen helpers, Anna Marie, Yvonne, Norma, Robin, Lucy, Jan, Nancy, Barb, Kelsey and Vicky. And thanks to all who donated their sandwiches, soup and treats. Maureen and Jules were there all day prepping, serving and cleaning after! Many thanks to the Little Red Church for the loan of the table runners- they sure brightened the dreary day. And finally, thank you, Bowen, for honouring our past and present service members.
