Help CAWES support the Christmas Hamper Project
December 03, 2017 05:48PM
Hello generous CAWES supporters,

We are again (along with the Missy Foundation and Dogwood Rescue, also based on Bowen), supporting the Christmas Hamper Project by contributing food for those in need who have animal companions.

We are not asking for actual food donations because Missy Foundation is able to purchase pet food at wholesale prices, which means we are able to get a lot more food and supplies for $$$ spent.

We are collecting donations up to and including December 15th and will accept any donation amount, no matter how small. To make it easier for everyone to donate, Bowen's Pet Supply and Bell'Ochio Decor in Artisan Square have both kindly offered to collect donations on our behalf.

You can also deposit directly into our account at the FCU in the cove, or you can send a cheque to CAWES, Box 280, V0N 1G0 (deposits and cheques should specify "for the Animals' Christmas Hampers"), or give your donation to one of our board members. If you would like a tax receipt please email cawes.bowen@gmail.com or provide contact details with your donation.

Bowen's Christmas Hamper is a wonderful project taken on every year by the same small group of dedicated volunteers. The hampers include food, treats, and toys to help make Christmas a happier time for some of our neighbours who are struggling financially. Bowen's animal rescue groups try to help by including food and treats for their beloved fluffy and feathered companions.

Many thanks,
The CAWES Group
